If you are a creator on Snapchat, the content you share publicly can include images, videos, audio, and text.
Snap says public content posted to places such as Spotlight, Public Stories, and Snap Map may be used to develop, train, and improve its generative AI content creation models.
The good news is that Snapchat provides a direct opt-out setting.

Open Snapchat and tap:

Under:
Privacy Control
tap:
Manage My Information
Open the generative AI setting and find:
Allow use of Public Content
Turn the toggle Off.
Snap says that once you opt out, it will no longer use your public content to develop, train, or improve its generative AI content creation models going forward.
The setting does not reverse training that has already taken place.
Snap also says it may still use your content for other purposes covered by its Privacy Policy. And if another Snapchat user posts public content that includes you, Snap may still process information about you from that content.
So this setting gives you control over future generative AI training using public content you post, but it is not a complete removal of every possible use of your information.
