If you stream on Twitch, your channel can contain hours of original video, audio, chat, clips, images, and text.
Twitch gives creators a direct setting to control whether this channel content can be used to train generative AI models at Amazon.
If you are checking AI-training controls across other creator platforms too, Sparkonomy’s free Creator AI Consent Audit can help you see which opt-outs are available in one place.
You can watch the short walkthrough below or follow the three steps after it.
Prefer watching? The video above shows where to find Twitch’s “Training for Generative AI” setting and turn it off.
Log in to Twitch and open:
Settings
Inside Settings, select:
Security and Privacy
Scroll until you find:
Training for Generative AI
Turn off:
Training for Generative AI

Twitch says that after you opt out, your streams, VODs, clips, stream chats, and text and images on your channel will not be used for future training of Amazon generative AI models designed to create text, audio, images, or video.
Turning this setting off does not stop every use of AI or machine learning on Twitch.
Twitch says AI-supported features such as recommendations, captions, AutoMod, safety tools, and some streamer growth or monetization features may still operate. These are separate from training generative AI content models.
So if your goal is specifically to stop your channel content from training generative AI models at Amazon, Training for Generative AI is the setting to turn off.
Twitch is only one platform. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Medium, Substack, Snapchat, and others all handle AI-training controls differently.
Sparkonomy’s free Creator AI Consent Audit helps you check where these controls exist, how to opt out, and what each setting still cannot protect.
